Neena Williamson and Mitch Gilroy are thrown together into a locked pantry by a robber. With nothing else to do they talk. Each senses something hidden under the surface in one another.

I’m a big fan of Ms. Agnew and really wish I could be happier with this book. Don’t get me wrong, the love story is excellent. Secondary characters like Kat, Neena’s best friend, are a hoot. I like the idea of a calendar of the town’s hottest men as part of the story and think it’s well done.

The robbery that throws them together, Mitch’s secret and his sexual performance anxiety seem to be missing something. His inability to have an orgasm has haunted him but it’s never once mentioned when he and Neenah get intimate. Neena’s secret is sad, heartbreaking even. I couldn’t feel that way about Mitch’s story. It didn’t seem to be bad enough to keep a man down who could stare down a robber holding a gun in his face.

It’s still a good story, I just feel it has some loose ends. My favorites seem to tie all the strings together into a nice tight package. This one has all the fun, the great dialogue an interesting plot but is missing some pieces that I feel would have made it more complete.
