| When Susan Anderson asked Colin Zanardi and others to come back to the small town of Hedgecock for a reunion to help raise money for the high school, Colin never thought he might find love but that is just what he may have done. Having attended Hedgecock High, being an NFL MVP, and now working as the coach of the Savannah Rebels, Colin is an easy made choice for the townsfolk to ask for help with the raising of money. As Susan works on bringing it all together, she finds herself attracted to Colin right from the start. Hoping he will be the one she is looking for.
With endearing characters like Colin and Susan this book grabbed me right from the beginning. Susan is a strong woman looking for something that is missing in her life. No matter how hard she tries she can't seem to get it right. Colin is a man who understands Susan and what she needs and he is more than willing to give it to Susan. Colin is a great Dom who finds something worth fighting for and tries his best to get it. I enjoyed watching their relationship pan out. As Susan and Colin work together on the fundraiser they begin to find each other. Each starts to have deeper feelings for the other but must come to terms with them first. I enjoyed seeing that both Susan and Colin have doubts and insecurities showing us that no one is perfect but if you are willing to work and try you just might find what you are longing for. Ann Jacobs writes a great story pulling the reader in right from the start and keeping you turning the pages all the way to the end. I truly enjoyed this story and will be on the lookout for more from this author in the future.
