| Every morning, Jenna Wade heads to her favorite coffee shop for a morning pick-me-up before going to work. One morning, a new face at the coffee shop captures her attention. The man is tall, sexy, and somehow familiar to her. She can't place him, but when she finally gets the courage to ask his name, she discovers he is world famous actor Alex Richmond! The attraction between the two is instantaneous and electrifying, but both know it can go nowhere. Nonetheless, both ache for just one special moment together…Will they get it?
The Coffee Shop is a short and somewhat bittersweet look at a passing love. Alex and Jenna both realize that despite their attraction, they lead totally opposite lives and have no real way of staying connected. However, this doesn't stop them from exploring their passion for each other, in what ends up being a very memorable encounter for not only the characters but the reader. Andrea Glenn has done a good job of showing the many facets of love, and how that sometimes, the fleeting encounters can be the most unforgettable and poignant. If you're looking for a romance that creates its own spin on the happily-ever-after, you'll find The Coffee Shop to be a satisfying read.
