| Derek and Sage met at Collingwood School. This school specialized in teaching men and women the art of being masters and slaves. At the school they met people like Evan, a sociopath who loved to torture his slaves, and Jenny, a lesbian, who is looking for something different from what her regular partner is willing to try.
Derek, a wealthy businessman, loves the sexual freedom the school offers. Sage, a successful attorney, loves being a slave. After the training period they worked out a contract and Sage goes to live with Derek at his home. They settled into a routine. After a while Derek decides he wants to change the conditions of their contract. Sage has made the mistake of falling in love with Derek. When Derek talked about changing the contract, he never once mentioned that he loved Sage. So Sage wanted to go back to the school. Derek had to leave on a business trip and made Sage promise that she would not leave until after he got back. Sage promised. Sage received two dozen roses and a note saying that Derek was sorry and that he wanted to take her away for the weekend. As she climbed into the limo she was shocked at who was waiting for her. When Derek returned from the business trip, Sage was not there. He had an idea where she went. He just had to know why she left. Will Derek and Sage work out a new contract? Will Derek ever tell Sage that he loves her? Who was waiting for Sage in the limo? What harm will come to Sage? Does she blame Derek for not protecting her? Will she ever forgive him? Jessica Brandt writes with such emotion! The love scenes she writes are so steamy that they fogged up my glasses. She paints a very erotic picture with her words. When she describes her characters, it is easy to imagine what they look like and how they present themselves. Her use of imagery makes it easy for the mind's eye to see the beautiful manor where Collingwood School is located. I find Collingwood School to be one of the best examples of erotica that I have read in a long time. With all the twist and turns in the story there is a surprise around every corner.
