Cassie Teague is an aspiring author who has received yet another rejection letter. As she laments with her friend at the local cafe, she considers giving up her dream of becoming published. David Jameson, a breathtakingly handsome acquisitions editor, walks in and makes Cassie wonder if God has other plans for her. David wants more than just an author/editor relationship with the lovely writer. But will office politics destroy their hopes for the future?

I loved this sweet uplifting story. The characters were so well developed that I still find it hard to believe this was only thirty four pages long. David is so endearing in his insecurities and I couldn't help cheering on Cassie and praying she'd get her publishing contract. The storyline, while a little banal, is simply delightful and the plot so well paced that I was lost in the pages until the very end. I will definitely be on the lookout for more from this author as she convinced me that dreams really do come true.
