Kelly Hampton has sworn of men and in fact, has stated to the whole entire bar she owns that she's taken a vow of celibacy. However, that vow is found a little hard to keep when her ex, Sean McKenzie, walks back in her life after two years with one thing in mind -- to win her back.

This book was completely captivating with an excellent plot of a hero trying to win back the love of his life, while the heroine fights tooth and nail of letting him worm his way in, although not too successfully at first. The dialogue was funny in parts with Kelly making her announcement and serious in others, in the way that both characters had a relationship in the past that didn't end all that well for them. I liked the heroine for her quirky attitude and for holding true to herself until her ex explained why he left. While with Sean, I liked his need to put others before himself. Having to choose between Kelly and his mother must have been hard, but it had to be done even though he loved her so much.

Overall, Ms Leigh has done a tremendous job penning this short tale that ended beautifully with a sex scene bound to make you hot for that kind of loving. And in reading this novella, I was intrigued to learn what other books this author had written because I can't wait to read more of her work.
