| Deidre is home in her small southern town to handle her grandmother's affairs after she has died. She never expects to run into the one person she'd rather avoid, Jacob. She is surprised to find him home and before she knows it she is in her bed. Their relationship didn't end well before and now it's as if fate has brought them together again. Was it fate or the work of dear grandma who knew where her granddaughter's heart lies? Could it be that her last act before dying was to ensure that Deidre and Jacob finally got their chance at happiness?
This story is really short and only about ten pages. Needless to say there is not a lot of room for character development or to build an attachment to the characters. The story moves at a very fast pace and before you know it the story is over. But if a really quick read is what you are after or you have to read on the go, then this is the perfect book for you.
