Conner could not accept Marleen’s job as a detective, it was just too dangerous so he left but he could not forget her or the passion they shared together. Marleen must put her feelings aside to protect Conner the one man she was trying to forget. But in a world of Drugs, Murder, and dirty cops Conner and Marleen must learn to trust each other if they want to stay alive. Conner’s Back is a great book it kept me on the edge the entire time. It has Murder, suspense, and romance what more could you want in a great story. Conner and Marleen are both strong characters and together they make a perfect couple add all the secondary characters and you have the mixings for a wonderfully written story.
