| Once again readers are taken to the small town of Orchard Hill where our two little ladies, Pansy Parker and Misty Green, try to see who best can succeed as matchmaker. In this book, it was Pansy’s turn and she decided that she had the perfect couple in her sights.
Lily Robinson owned the beauty shop, Gilding by Lily, and had lived in Orchard Hill for a little over two years—since divorcing her unfaithful husband Ted. Lily was a loner who had one true friend, Grace Randall. Otherwise, she stayed aloof to keep from being hurt. Dr. Ian O’Neil, brother of Riley (Grace’s fiancé) was the town veterinarian. He was lonely and interested in Lily but got nothing but rebuff. Would the fact that both would be working on a town animal shelter project make any difference? And there had to be a reason Lily was still worried about her ex-husband. Ms. Kara Lynn Russell has again lived up to her high standards. Her writing style is upbeat, fast-paced and uplifting. This latest inspirational look at the town of Orchard Hill attempts to unite a couple who had strong characters. Ms. Russell has great insight into building her storyline and creating a fun read while injecting some Christian principles into the mix. I highly recommend this latest story and know you will be excited. I also look forward to the next escapade with these matchmaking ladies.
