Nina has had a hard life. Raped when she was young, the only thing that kept her sane was the dream lover she had until two years ago. Vasile and Nina had a lot of chemistry going on in this book. I thought it was intriguing that she could have a lover that she didn't think was real but still remain faithful to him all those years. Vasile starts out as a selfish, self centered character that really doesn't understand his impact on Nina's life. You get to see him grow as a person throughout the story and that is part of what makes this such a good read. Nina is smart and tough, trying to make it in the business world. This is a wonderful story that I truly enjoyed reading; I will be on the lookout for more from JJ Massa in the future.
