| Tracey is an EMT. She is very skeptical about cowboys because of what she went through with her unfaithful ex-husband, Dan. Tracey and her partner Bo receive a call to pick up an injured rodeo cowboy, Skip Horton. Skip was trampled by two horses while participating in a bareback riding event. Tracey is very aroused by Skip's great body. He steals a kiss from her in the ambulance on the way to the ER. Tracey dismisses his behavior as typical cowboy, expecting all women to respond to his blatant flirting. Skip hates hospitals but can't be released if he is going to be alone. Tracey is a single mother with 2 young children. The children are spending the month with their father and she is home alone. Tracey offers to let Skip spend the night at her house. Skip comes home with Tracey and their simmering attraction becomes explosive. Would Tracey dismiss their time together as nothing more than lust or would she consider taking a chance?
I really enjoyed the characters of Tracey and Skip. Tracey had been thinking about getting married again but is very wary because of the experience of her failed marriage to Dan. Skip was a great character for generating tremendous sexual hunger. The heated scenes between Tracey and Skip are beautifully written by Ms. O'Dare. This story really sizzles. I recommend it to everyone.
