| Julie Kensworth lived a quiet, secluded life in Tennessee where there was little snow during the winter. The 16+ inches now on the ground was misjudged by the authorities. The storm came through the area and snowed everyone in for days. Her father had taught her to be prepared with food, fuel, water and candles. She worried about her older next door neighbour so she decided to brave the elements to check on him. Then two men came to her door. They were almost frozen and had nowhere to go. Julie had to allow them into her home.
Quinn Stewart and Brandon Blake, best friends for years, had travelled from Texas to pick up some bulls they purchased from Julie's neighbour. They were unaware of the impending storm. They ended up with the truck in the ditch in the middle of nowhere. They were lucky to find Julie's house. They couldn't help wondering if they would be allowed to spend some time in her bed. This is an upbeat, fast-paced story which is perfect for an afternoon or evening with just a few hours to read. The poignant storyline was incredibly provocative. The sexual content was scorching. A beautiful story was developed in this book. The emotionally unstable writer known by a pseudonym was still mourning the death of her father. The ending to the book evolved from a lonely, self-sufficient character into someone quite different. I definitely didn't expect the ending to be as it was. This tender story of a potential ménage was, above all, a love story. I recommend it to those who are of age. This author is new to me, but I liked her writing style.
