| Holly Walker wanted it all, her husband Tyson wanted two things and that was all he ever longed for -- rodeo and Holly. Two loves. He never wanted to let go of.
This short story delves deeply into everyday thoughts and wishes, and how Holly hoped to receive the Christmas gift she'd always dreamed of -- him at home. Short, sassy and full of sex appeal drives this story in a way that really brings out sensitive thoughts of doubt, need, honesty but most of all love. Holly is rich in sex appeal, delivering us a woman with an agenda. Tyson proves to be a man in pretty well every woman's sexual fantasy. Giving his woman everything, except in this case he holds back on one subject, you can feel his resistance. The way he comes to a decision is rather interesting as he realizes what is really important to him. Patricia Bates delves into this short story with a taste of a zest for life. Giving us a rich passionate lady the type of lady who could kick ass if need be. Holly is the type of woman who would drive a man like Tyson to want every bit of his woman. I like this story, mostly because it made me wonder what would happen next. Tyson has loads of sex appeal as well.
