Jenny Rohm is happily engaged and working at a job she loves. So what if she hates going to corporate parties with her fiance, Brian? At one of these events, she runs into Ashley Edwards, an attorney at the company Brian works for. They are instantly attracted to each other, but cannot indulge in their feelings due to her engagement. Will Jenny be able to resist Ashley the better she gets to know him?

Craving Kismet was a well-written story, but I felt that it dragged at times. I enjoyed reading the scenes where Jenny and Ashley were getting to know each other, but I thought that it was making the story move slowly. I did like how the author used both of their fantasies to create wonderful tension. The fantasies were smoking hot and I couldn't wait to see how the sparks would fly once they actually got together. I really liked Jenny and it was very easy to empathize with her. It could easily be any woman in her shoes and she did a superb job dealing with her emotions. I admired the fact that even though Ashley was used to getting what he wanted, he respected Jenny's decision to keep things friendly. However, once Ashley realized she was unhappy with her relationship with Brian, he decided nothing would stand in the way of being with her. Overall, Craving Kismet was a pretty good read.
