| After her husband's funeral, Eden Keller was invited to the home of the Demarkos. When Chad Demarko found her crying, he comforted her. Their shared a kiss quickly ignited into much more. Chad's father interrupted them and the next day Eden left their home afraid of the intensity of her reaction to Chad. Now two years later, Chad is back with a proposition that's difficult for Eden to refuse.
Chad has wanted Eden since first saw her dance. After the funeral of her husband, comforting her soon turned to desire. After returning from Europe, and with the perfect excuse to see Eden, he's determined to seduce her and win her heart and make her his. That is assuming she can accept him for what he is. Crimson Thrall is a story of two people that have a strong connection, but there are barriers to cross before either can find happiness. The characters are vibrant, the love scenes are provocative, erotic, and well written. But for me the story ended way too soon. I felt I was left hanging although the ending was smoothly executed, I felt the need to know more about the world Aubrey created and what happened after. I hope Aubrey who is an undeniably gifted author will write further books within this world. I enjoyed this book, but I want more.
