I thoroughly enjoyed this hauntingly beautiful short read. I love a story that brings tears to my eyes. The characters were so fantastically developed which is amazing in such a brief tale. The hero and heroine are two tortured souls who burrowed into my heart. I don't know who I fell in love with more -- Ruth or Jared. This was an erotically romantic Christmas gift that had everything you could want in a book and it came packed into about twenty pages. I highly recommend this to fans of any and all genres, as it will appeal to everyone. I know that I will read this one over and over again.
