| Rose Sheridan wants to find a love just like her friend who has announced her engagement. One day Rose hopes to do the same. Feeling a bit down, she decides to go home for a visit but an accident causes a major turn in her life. Constantine is a slave to Eros Goddess of love. Eros was the goddess of love and he was her Cupid. He is tired of being tortured by her and wants to break the dreaded curse. Now he is given twenty-four hours and within those hours he must make love to his chosen human six times. Rose is having thoughts of man troubles when she enters her car and heads for home. When she hears a loud crunch she is certain she hit something. Rose cannot believe the angel thing is bleeding all over the asphalt. She has to find a way to help him. Not only has she struck Cupid but she caused his arrows to shoot into him. When she starts to help him, she is struck with one of his arrows. One simple prick was all it took to start the magic. Constantine urged Rose to leave him but she refused. When he tells her about the curse he is under, Rose wants to help but with just a few hours left to work their own magic, they can only hope they can break the curse.
Curse of Cupid is so enchanting and the dialogue spun between Rose and Constantine is wonderful. It is a great Valentine Day story that is a welcome read for any time of the year. With an ingenious plot and charming characters this is one pleasurable tale. Christine McKay weaves a sensual sexy read that is truly magical. I could not help but fall in love with Cupid. Just like a fish grabbing the bait dangling at the end of the hook, this story really grabbed me and kept me captivated. The cover is truly scrumptious.
