| Darla and Cole have been happily married for almost twenty years. But now they are stuck in a rut. Their daily obligations are taking their toll on their love-life and Darla does not know how to break out and regain the dreams and fantasies of their early days. Her friends, however, have the perfect solution. So Darla sets to work, trying to rekindle the flame in her marriage.
This is a sweet short story about a loving couple who feel weighed down by the reality. The solution to the dilemma is fairly obvious but still universally true and thus believable. Told in the first person by Darla, it reads very mush like a diary. This approach is fairly unusual in this genre and it limits the reader's contact with the other protagonist since we see everything through Darla's eyes. Nevertheless, this is very much a satisfying and heart warming read.
