Ava Rose Johnson creates a futuristic universe and fills it with characters the reader can't help but be drawn to. Cyr and Smith's are two men whose bond to one another hasn't really been broken by separation no matter how much pain and anger they've felt. The feelings they shared in the past seem to over power any amount of common sense or desire to hold back their heart from a love determined to be felt. Great eroticism, some futuristic inventions, and well done secondary characters help make this a well crafted book that's fun to read.
