Contemporary romance

Five-year-old twins, Boo and Lindy decide to use a magical spell, known only by them, to procure them a daddy. On a deserted road, Chad appears out of nowhere to help the girls and their mother, Robin, rescue an injured dog. Chad is snared by Robin’s personality and beauty, and her daughters charmed him instantly. Fascinated by Chad’s tales of pumpkin magic, they want him as their daddy. But Robin doesn’t believe his promises and believes dreams never come true. Will Robin give the girls’ daddy spell a chance to work?

What a cute story. This book has something for everyone in it. The adorable twins will cause you to constantly smile and snicker at the shenanigans and stunts they pull. Robin’s steadfast dedication to her girls is a very endearing and worthy quality and makes her an amazing mother. While Chad’s patience and laid back attitude makes him the perfect could-be father, his dedication to his family shows his true nature towards those he cares about. Chad’s family is full of quirky and interesting characters. Their ribbing of Chad and all of their “helping” makes for some exciting times out at his farm.

Ms. Colt has done a wonderful job of telling this entertaining story without bogging it down with too many details. When Robin and Chad first meet, the tension is immediately present and continues to grow throughout the story until it culminates to a very satisfying finale. The sexual chemistry between Chad and Robin is intense and immediate. Despite the unattractive situation they find themselves in, they just can’t stop the chemistry that explodes between them. Once Robin is able to get over her pride and to allow Chad and his family to help her and the girls more, you begin to see that there is more to her than just a great mother. If you enjoy stories full of entertaining characters, human and animal, loads of sexual tension and sensuality, and an entertaining plot, this is one book you shouldn’t miss.
