| Kat Donaldson is known in the Philadelphia art world for launching the careers of unknown artists. She has recently become interested in the work of an extraordinary wood worker, Magnus Thorvald. Kat wants to exhibit Magnus' work but finds him less than willing. Kat is going to have to go the extra mile to convince Magnus that he is her next star.
Magnus Thorvald was attracted to Kat from the first moment he saw her step out of her car, but he knew she was a heartbreaker and he wasn't interested in more heartache. Try as he might, he couldn't fight the attraction and Kat wasn't going to make it easy. When these two forces of nature collide, they cause sparks, and clothes, to fly. Cris Anson's Dance of the Butterfly was a thoroughly enjoyable read. Immediately, I was drawn into the story and the lives of these characters. Kat was a free-spirited woman who enjoyed her sexuality and reveled in hedonistic pleasures. Magnus (I love his name!) radiated strength and sexuality. If he were a real man, I would definitely want to know him personally and intimately. I recommend Dance of the Butterfly to readers who enjoy books with strong characters who find love unexpectedly. While this can be read alone, Dance of the Seven Veils was equally entertaining and should not be missed.
