Dr. Max Larkham-Jones is a wealthy urbanite doctor with experience in ER and general practice. He has come to work in World's End, Australia. His first opinion after seeing the falling down fishing shacks that lined the main street is, 'What a dump.' Max's first patient explains how everyone goes to Doc Rowan when they are ill. He further explains that Doc Rowan is a witch and makes her own cures. Max had just been through a bad experience he blames on alternative medicine. He decides that the town is not big enough for both him and Doc Rowan, and sets out to tell her what he thinks. Rowan is a registered nurse and has a license in counseling. She is also a very skilled herbalist. The town people, through the years, just know she has the skills to help them and they seek her out. She does what she can and is pleased to hear the town is getting a real doctor. Rowan did not expect the new doctor to be so angry or so handsome. Sparks fly when the two meet.

'Dance with the Devil,' is a steamy romance involving the supernatural. Set in World's End, Australia, the setting comes to life through the descriptive writing of J. C. Grey. World's End is an older town based around a fishing community, where everyone knows everyone's business. Her characters are colorful and you will be caught up in this story as they fight their demons. Max must understand what has happened in his past and work past it. Rowan must understand her family history to know how to conquer the evil she will face. The dialogue is logical and fluid making it easily read. The theme of the story is good versus evil. With help Rowan will work to face an evil trying to take over World's End. The romance is passionate. The sex is creative and exciting in details. The plot of the story is organized and all aspects of the story are for the most point fully developed. This is a unique, original story that I think all adult readers that enjoy the paranormal will like.
