Especially since the payments are just what she can afford… These short stories are all by the same author. Each one is very different from the others, and not all of them have happy endings. I thought these short stories had strong character development, and were very engaging to read. I don't usually read a lot of short stories, because I feel that they can't explore the characters enough, and the story never feels finished. These stories are the exception to the rule, because each one could have stood on it's own. All the stories had it's own personality and plot twist in the story. A definite keeper, I really enjoyed it. You can tell this author will be around for a long time. I am going to look for more of her work!
