Using the excuse of amnesia to keep her secrets safe, her only desire is to escape before Fox discovers who she is. Wanted as a French spy but innocent of any wrong -doing she must find the person behind naming her and her cousin as spies and clear their names. The person known only as the "Dandelion."
Dangerous to Love by Victoria Dark is a thrilling story set during the war between France and England. Everyone with a French accent is looked at suspiciously for fear they just might be a spy. Watching how the characters react to being around Ari gives you a sense of what it must have been like. An example is when she asks a maid a question and the maid goes screaming how that the French devil is trying to kill her. A funny scene, but believable, with how afraid everyone was during this time. Everyone seems to believe Ari is a spy. That includes Fox, but as the story progresses he begins to have his doubts and starts to not care. The chemistry between the two is combustible. Fox wants Ari and makes no secret about it. Ari has her reasons for not falling in love. But she cannot fight what she feels. The romance is wonderful with its misunderstandings and them both fighting their attraction. The dialogue is brilliant and conveys the thoughts and emotions of the characters. My favorite scene is when Ari physically takes down Julian. All the scenes with Julian left me smiling. I loved his interactions with Ari. I would love to read a romance about him next. The story is filled with excitement and suspense. Dangerous To Love is a wonderfully creative and entertaining story that everyone will be sure to enjoy.
