Cal has an obsession and her name is Ellie. It just so happens that Ellie is his best friends girlfriend and, and though he is included in mnage sex play with his long time friend Brady and Ellie, Cal really just wants her alone, for himself. Two months ago he met her and since then no other woman can chase the thought of her from his mind.

As will happen, Ellie and Brady announce their engagement, and though Cal is very happy for them, he is very unhappy for himself. Both care about Cal and want his happiness, with some nice girl. He decides to take Ellie up on her offer to let him use her home, in the staid little town she comes from, as a getaway for a while. She just slyly forgets to tell him about the inhabitant already using the house.

The first night turns into an inferno of hot sex, each thinking the other is someone else. Sue thinks shes in the middle of a hot dream with a friend and Cal thinks he is with Ellie. The morning is a shock to each of them, and staying together in the house makes for some heated exchanges over the next few weeks. Cal begins to realize that he hasnt been thinking of Ellie at all in the time he has been in Dareville, and that his thoughts are revolving only around Sue.

This book is so funny and the opening scene is worth an Oscar just for dialog and the scenic description, right down to the aches and pains he is feeling in trying to get her off. The Am I gay sentiments written into the story I found very realistic and fitting; bringing to paper (or computer screen) the very real thoughts of someone realizing they are turned on by same-sex situations, and not being quite sure how to deal with it. This was a great story and definitely a recommended read.
