Quinton Herriman is a member of an elite force of the Australian military, assigned to protect the young nephew of the Sultan. He's suspicious of Isabelle right away, wondering what her real purpose is. However, the attraction between these two is immediate.

This book definitely lives up to its label! A lot of sexual tension, and some pretty hot sex scenes make this one very erotic romance. This is the first book I've read by this author and I really enjoyed it. The dialog between the characters is witty, and keeps the story moving along at a fast pace. Lots of action - in and out of the bedroom - makes for some thrilling, suspenseful moments.

The characters are, for the most part, complex and believable. I especially like Isabelle and Quinton. She is a strong woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants, and he is a hero with a tough past who is willing to risk his heart for this woman. And for him, it's a big risk.

The plot could have been developed a bit more in my opinion, but one wonderful thing about Ms. Gail's writing is that she is great at "showing, not telling". I was totally caught up in the story, the characters, and their world. I really like the way she took an unusual setting, with characters who are in unconventional professions, and made it all work together. The result? A sexy, action-packed story I couldn't put down. I look forward to reading more from this author.
