Ray wants Shelia from the moment he sees her, only she seems too cool and detached to go for a guy like him. He makes it his mission to make her respond to him in every way and if that includes a little sex then all is fair in love and war. Once he gets a taste of her though, he doesn't want to let her go, but can she be happy with a simple man like himself?

Shelia may come off as detached at first, but once you read a little further you get really good insight into who she is. Ray seems like a womanizer at first because the first thing he thinks about is getting Shelia into bed, but soon we also see that he is deeper than he seems. For a good quick read this book makes the perfect example.
