Roarke is a centuries-old vampire. When he and Riordan meet, they both know it's different. They are drawn to each other and quickly join forces to destroy the vampires that kill humans at will. As their love grows for one another and the sex between them burns up the sheets, their life is near perfect. Suddenly Roarke becomes very sick and is quickly dying. Can they find a cure or will the cure in which they seek be the very thing to destroy them both?

Dark Callings is broken down into five sections moving the reader along with these to gorgeous men as they discover love and struggle to hold on to it. I have to say this story has more scorching sex scenes than any book I have ever read. And to be truthful you would think with so much sex, the rest of the story would be lacking. Not true, this was such a well-written hot story that will keep the reader squirming in their seats and anxiously turning the pages to see if these two alpha males can find a way to survive in a dark, dangerous world. I would not recommend this book to anyone faint of heart as it is full of hot, graphic man love and violence, but would highly recommend it to someone such as myself who loves their stories a little on the darker side.
