| Maximillian Lobos has waited six months to claim his mate, Candi Wagner, and he is more than ready. As she steps into his dry cleaners, he realizes that the time has come to claim her. But, she doesn't know that he is a werewolf. Maximillian has decided to wait until after they have mated to tell her about his pack and himself. He only hopes that she will understand and still love and accept him for what he is.
Ms. Carlo has created a wonderful story of a wolf claiming his mate. Maximillian is a strong character while Candi is a bit shy and gets really tongue tied around him. But this creates some very interesting dialogue. I really enjoyed way that the characters interact with each other. The harmony and overall craziness of the town folks and how they seem to been involved in each other's business make this a great story You learn about the pack and some of the problems that they are having with the sheriff and a few others who want to allow wolf hunting back into the area. As you read this book, you really get involved with each of the characters and you really begin to see them. This story is fast paced and will keep you reading as you can't wait to find out what will be happening next. Overall, this is a great story to read and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes paranormal stories about wolves. The love scenes are very hot and somewhat steamy. I look forward to reading more of Jianne Carlo's books.
