When Erin Greenway moves to the town of Pine Forest as the new librarian she doesn’t know she is moving to a town with more ghosts per square mile than most other towns. The town’s people expect strange and unusual happenings, and don’t get to concerned about most things until women start dieing. When Erin meets Lachlan Tavish she starts receiving telepathic messages, and is instantly sexually attracted to him.

When Lachlan tells her he is the one talking to her telepathically she also wonders if he is the one that has been killing the women in town, and when he tells her he is hunting a thousand year old vampire she wonders if he is a vampire hunter or is the vampire hunting her.

This story is fantastic Ms. Agnew does a fantastic job developing the characters not only the main ones but all of the supporting cast as well. The story is very suspenseful and keeps you guessing up into almost the end. The great thing is that she has both good and evil in her vampires she gives them free will, which makes things very interesting. The heat between Lachlan and Erin is hot, and will leave you in flames.
