Each engrossing scene is distinctively described giving the reader a clear and vivid picture of the characters as well as the action and yet the extra details do not distract from the enjoyment of the mystery or the strong romance. The paranormal edge in Darkness Falls has the ability to immerse the reader, making it impossible to put down. Emotions run on high with characters that are engaging, complex, well-developed and whose personalities seem to pull the reader into the story and hold them captive. The author keeps things interesting with the connection that Noah, Aiden and Alana feel that seems to grow stronger the longer they are together adds an additional dimension to the story as well as to the bond that seems to ignite between the men and the one woman who completes them. The lover's relationship isn't in for an easy ride, as Ms. Michaels places both physical and emotional challenges in their path to deal with. The sexual tension runs high and the sensual delights are sizzling hot, tender and poignant. Darkness Falls serves up a stew of secondary characters that wonderfully complement the main characters as well as the story. For those who crave an out-of-the-ordinary read, look no further than this enchanting story.
