| In the latest novel from Christine Feehan’s Dark Series, the focus is on a rare female Carpathian, Ivory. She was protected by her brothers growing up, but was brutally attacked in an attempt on her life and has since been in hiding except for her forays out to destroy vampires with her wolf clan. Razvan, a rare Dragonseeker Carpathian, has finally escaped his prison only to have the sole wish of release in death. But when he is found by Ivory, she vows to save both their lives and will even go against the entire Carpathian race to do so.
This latest installment in Ms. Feehan’s Dark Series is sure to satisfy even the most critical reader. This heart wrenching book will keep you reaching for the tissue box one moment and then laughing heartily the next. The depth of emotions rolling off of the characters is astounding. Ms. Feehan has done an amazing job in developing numerous layers and depths in her characters. One of the greatest things that I absolutely love about her Dark books is that the reader continuously gets to see and gets updates on characters from past and future books. The Carpathian community is one very tightly-knit group that you can’t help but want to be a part of. It’s not just the connections between all of the characters, but the connection between Ivory and Razvan is extremely strong throughout the whole book. When a Carpathian takes a mate, they take it very seriously. Their love is unconditional and knows no bounds. The sexual chemistry between them is equally strong. While the sex scenes do not play a large part in the story, they do pack a punch and they will leave the reader very satisfied. All-in-all, the Dark Slayer is sure to be considered a winner and is a must read for any fan of the Dark Series. If you’ve never read a Dark Series book before, this could be a great one to start with so go grab a copy today.
