Mace Seeger is haunted by Sara's eyes when he finds her picture in her dead husband's wallet. It's those eyes that pull him hundreds of miles away from home to a woman he has never met. The woman he finds when he reaches Sara is no longer the helpless victim she appeared to be in the photograph but she is still battling for control of her own life and Mace is determined to help her even if it means fighting a strong power from beyond the grave.

Dark Touch is the story of a woman's journey to free herself from a horrible past and learn to live and love again. Sara Parmenter is a submissive by nature but her late husband used that to control and degrade her in the most violent of ways leaving her vulnerable and feeling much less than a real woman. Mace Seeger rides in almost like her night and shining armor ready to help her put her husband in the grave once and for all and laying his own claim on Sara and her heart. This story is extremely graphic in nature with scenes that some readers may find objectionable. Though I found some parts to be lacking in believability all in all it was a good story.
