| Someone is trying to start a war between the Kats and the Dawgs. Micha Lucan called a meeting with the Kat leader Carson Teague to try to avoid this, but was assassinated at the meeting. Now his second in command, his son Bayron is missing and his daughter Aisha is in danger. Neither is prepared for the intense attraction that they feel towards each other, after all Kats and Dawgs do not mix.
This is a fun introduction to a new series. It’s a strange world of shape shifters, Kats, Dawgs, and Birds. The Birds seem to want to pit the other two against each other. Neither Teague or Aisha know who they can trust, both are very alpha characters and do not step aside for anyone. The story does end a bit abruptly and the plot does not flow smoothly at times, but I will definitely be reading more of these stories.
