Ella Waverly is a FBI agent. The team leader, Bryce Lain, and herself were assigned an uncover job on Little Palm Island Resort. Ella was to participate as a contestant on a bachelor-type reality show. Bryce would be a security advisor. The bachelor in question, Baron Astley, a minor British peer, made his own reality show to find an American wife. In England, Astley was suspected of raping and killing four women, though charges were never formally made. The FBI and Scotland Yard agreed the situation needed monitoring, hence the need for undercover agents. When Ella first met Bryce, she thought he was the handsomest man she ever met. The attraction was mutual. Ella resolved to down play her feelings because involvement could jeopardize her job. As the job and her feelings for Bryce escalate, a woman turns up missing. An accident befalls Ella. Has she become a target?

The plot has an easy flow. It draws the reader into a grip of mystery and suspense, never letting go until the end. I like the uncertainty and tension between the two main characters, Ella and Bryce, it makes the story more real. Even FBI agents have insecurities. It was very easy to picture a few of the well defined minor characters. Veronica was one of those shallow beautiful woman you hate because she's better then the rest of us. Baron Astley was a rich playboy, who the same beautiful woman mindlessly fell all over. He could easily be either diabolical or innocent, his portrayal could read either way until the end. Good Read.
