| Erred, son of a prince, servant and consort to the Lady of the Waters is captured by slave traders. All those that traveled with him are killed. When their bodies are discovered they are unrecognizable so his people believed that he was also killed.
He is then transported across the desert to a place so very different than the world of which he knew. He is used, abuse and trained to be sold as a sex slave. He is then sold from one master to another, some crueler than others. He experiences overwhelming pain and humiliation. Through it all he is able to maintain his faith and somehow discover love. Dead to the World is a fascinating look into the life of a holy man that is forced to become a sex slave.
