Kit Poindexter arrived in Arizona from Boston with a goal, to make enough money to buy out her half-brother's interest in the family businesses. She had taken a job as a business consultant with the firm of Bernard Brothers Investments who had offered her a nice commission if she could get some land that was not far from the Apache Reservation. A few more commissions like that and Kit could be on her way back to Boston.

She was set to go on a skiing trip with some friends when she lost control of her car in a snow storm. It seemed like forever until she saw a truck stop and the driver offered to help her. This cowboy who was too handsome for his own good was a knight in shinning armor. Yet Kit had no time to think of his looks or his blue eyes. Stranded in the snow the only shelter was an old cabin where they were forced to take refuge for two days.

The cowboy was intrigued by the spunky girl and attracted to her as well. But he realized he would probably never see her again after the snow stopped. Then something happened to these two unlikely souls in that storm and it was something that neither wanted to admit or think about.

Brett McClintock tried to put her our of his mind but as fate would have it they did meet again and again. Is it destiny for this cowboy, who is really an assistant professor, and this stubborn gal from Boston to find out they are fighting the inevitable? Are they were meant for each other?

A great love story! I couldn't put it down. Women all over the country should wish to be rescued from a snow storm by a Brett McClintock.
