| After Trent sends Nia the divorce papers to sign, she realizes that she loves him too much to lose him because of her stupidity and stubbornness. Nia devises a plan to learn how to please her soon-to-be ex husband so that when she next sees him, she can seduce him into staying. Little does she know that he has returned earlier than planned and Trent surprises her with being at his club when she goes there. Will Nia be able to convince Trent of her love? Or will she lose him forever?
This short story was an intense read. Nia is a woman who loves with all her heart and tries to fix things the only way she knows how. Trent is a strong man trying not to fall victim to his wife again. He is tired of all the games and wishes to only know the truth. The reader is taken on an emotional ride with this story. The author does a good job of creating depth and emotion for these two characters making it hard to feel more for either the wife or the husband. You begin to understand just what motivates Trent and Nia into doing the things that they do. I enjoyed reading about a couple so in love that they will fight for their love. I also enjoyed watching Nia start to understand her mistakes and begin to let herself go and give herself heart and soul to Trent.
