I loved this story. This is the first book I've read by this author and I'm really pleased that I did. An intense and gritty novella with extremely well written characters. The dynamics between Vic and Tomas are powerful and realistic. The plot is fast paced with enough heat and passion to keep you wanting more. The sex is hot,tender in some moments, but there are some disturbing sexual situations not for the faint of heart.

This is a dark and edgy look at love, sex and fidelity that had me captivated from start to finish. The secondary characters are just as riveting particularly Jon, a nasty piece of work. Without giving too much away, I applaud the superb writing skills of the author in reference to one emotional and raw scene. It's a tough scene but it depicts so accurately the feelings and confusion Tomas is struggling with. I wasn't sure after all the intensity if the ending would be anticlimactic. Nope, the ending was as it should be. I look forward to reading more books from this author.
