With conflicting emotions running high between both Patricia and Demitri as the time drew near for them to mate, it is truly amazing to me how Demitri continually endures Patricia's antagonizing ways. He truly wanted her as a mate and the pain she inflicted on him at times was very painful and embarrassing. Patricia was fighting a combination of apprehension and attraction for Demitri. The characters of this story are well written and the storyline flows with both excitement and sexual chemistry which Ms. Hill has woven in quite nicely. The external and internal conflicts are good as well. The backgrounds and settings pull the reader into the story.
