Though this story starts out a little slow, it definitely picks up speed once Kiara reaches the house and finds her way to Malvo's prison on the library. Her dreams and his ability to peer through the veil of his prison allow them each glimpses of the other and prepare them for their eventual meeting. The characterization that takes place during the preparation makes their coming together more real when they meet for the first time. Like the other stories in this series, the sex scenes in this are extremely steamy. The heat in the encounters between Malvo and Kiara is enough to warm anyone up on a cold day. And though the sex makes up a large part of the story, the emotions that evolve throughout are what make it so endearing. This is an enjoyable story and a good way to end this series about captive souls.
