This was one hot virtual read. I fell more than a little in love with Saint when I read the first Shifting Reality book and was so happy to see him get his own story. I love my heroes a little on the wicked side and this sexy demon has a delicious dark streak. Ume is a fantastic female lead, one I could have easily felt sorry for but instead she came across as resolutely courageous. I'm not much of a gamer but the descriptions were so vivid I felt as if I really was inside my computer. Both the plot and the pace were great. The only problem I had with this story was that I wanted more details of what was going on between Julie and Liam whom I've wondered about since I first met them. I can't wait to see what happens with the resident vampire. I really did hate for this one to come to an end.
