Demon’s Redemption

Fantasy romance

Malarak is a demon seeking salvation and the heart of Beliana, an angel and his best friend. Breaking all rules of Heaven and Hell, he enthusiastically meddles in the lives of Mary and Sam, a pair of parted lovers who he believes should hurry up and get back together! He tries to control his devilish nature, but can a child of Hell really do an angel’s job? And forget nobility. Is he just doing all this to impress Beliana?

This novella is gut-wrenchingly hilarious and the dialogue between the different characters sparkles with rapid-fire wit and humour in this fast-paced tale of reuniting soul mates with a little unearthly help. The interaction between Malarak and Beliana is the best part of the novella as the authors successfully created characters that are perfect foils for each other and some of the best lines in the story were when there are four people juggling four conversations coming from two bodies. The convoluted conversations mirror the often confused and tangled lives of the characters and were presented wonderfully by the authors. The themes in this romance could have made for a very angst-filled story, but the authors avoided this by skilfully dealing with serious topics in a sensitive but humorous manner. This riotous tale of redemption and second-chances is a must read!
