This was a hot and fun paranormal quick read. The key to this great story are the fantastic characters. I had no problem believing that a tax man is a real live demon but I find it harder to believe that an IRS auditor is sexy. Annie is a fabulously complex woman which only makes her more realistic. How can you not enjoy a character who when facing certain death laments the fact that her life sucks because of crappy jobs and toxic friendships. Their chemistry is sensational and their dialogue laugh out loud funny. I highly recommend this amusing novella.
