When Denver Freezes Over

Jocelyn Trudoe met Alex Gavin after they were part of a crowd snowed in at Denver’s airport with days to anticipate being stranded. They were actually two of the lucky ones; they managed to share a cab and get to The Gordian Arms just in time to secure the last room available—the bridal suite!

Jocelyn was a designer of provocative lingerie; Alex, an all-Texan gentleman, cowboy hat and all the trimmings, was an architect who still lived on his family’s home place. Both were attracted to each other, but extremely cautious because of not knowing the other. Of course, the Texas gentleman gave the bed to Jocelyn; he slept on the couch in the other room! Would they get intimately acquainted? Would they just go their separate ways?

I assure you that the story did not turn out quite as you would expect! Ms. Harper has done a great job of telling this story in a way that made it hard to put down. Her characters were authentic, even the desk clerk who (continued to) pursue Alex. The plot with Alex and Jocelyn both being lost in their individual careers was well expressed and certainly believable.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants something sexy and fun to read! You will not be disappointed, I guarantee! Kudos to Ms. Harper.
