| After a devastating divorce left her feeling lost, Marybeth sets about changing her life. First is a shiny, cherry red, reissue Thunderbird convertible -- a car she has always wanted. There's also a visit to see her daughter in Nevada and she's prepared to enjoy every minute of the journey. What she doesn't expect is the discover that her car is fitted with a VERY special GPS system nor that she will meet a younger man who fires her blood and brings back her dormant libido, making her feel like a woman again.
Jake, ex Marine turned teacher, is on his way to Nevada to see his sister in a show. His Harley breaks down and while waiting, he sees a beautiful woman that has him imagining all sorts of decadent scenarios. After spending a short time chatting and flirting with her, he finds she's not just beautiful of face and body but has an inner beauty that calls to him on many levels. When she offers him a ride, the possibilities of getting to know her better that joining her present, he can't refuse. After reading the blurb for this novel, I just had to read it. I love my GPS, so the premise intrigued me a great deal. I loved it and was not disappointed. This totally unique, fun, and oh-so-sexy story, will warm you on a cold winter's night. Both leading characters have pasts that have left them battered and weary. Together, as their friendship develops and they find that special something, love isn't far behind, leaving the reader with that satisfying feeling that comes from a heart warming romance. The loves scenes are exceedingly erotic and beautifully written. I particularly loved the graphic detail of the Cactus garden. It was easy to visualize, which I thought was a nice touch.
