| Nick Lavery, at 41, had sworn off love. When his ex, Carrie, left him for a gym instructor, Nick was devastated. He swore he would never love again. Of course, that was before he saw Tasha Kelly in Mocha Treat, the local coffee shop. He was screaming at the clerk because of a problem with the credit card machine. Tasha walked up and paid for his coffee and told him to be quiet.
Tasha seldom dated because she was busy building up her personal business. When she paid for that man’s coffee, she hadn’t expected him to occupy her mind for days afterwards. When she saw him again, she was not prepared for his interest in her. This is another winner by Marie Rochelle. I absolutely want to read everything she writes. Her methods of producing her works are uniquely hers. The simplistic manner she uses when writing make me feel as if I was in the middle of the action at all times. Her fast-paced action, again, kept me mesmerized. I love the way she portrays her characters. Both her main characters were definitely unprepared for new relationships. The supporting players in the book were spectacular. They were friends and relatives of the couple. The parts they played were so well written. They were believable and helped to explain the storyline. In true Rochelle way, the written words were captivating. The sensuality between the couple—well, you can judge for yourself. I loved this book and highly recommend it.
