| Jesse and her friend Kelly share a business together. But Jesse hasn't been happy with her life since her bad marriage ended. Her ex sucked the life out of her and she finally decides to visit her sister who lives in Desire, Oklahoma. Jesse is amazed at Desire and the relationships that are considered normal for the town. It isn't long before Rio and Clay stake their claim on Jesse. They are all ecstatic together until there's an awful misunderstanding, and then Jesse's ex shows up, endangering Jesse and her new friends.
I was totally captivated by this story. The characters were dynamic, the setting was unique, the storyline believable, the sex scorching, and through it all, my emotions were completely engaged. Desire is a great fictional town and one that I love because everybody is accepted without judgment and the people take care of each other. The reader can't help but like Jesse, a woman who has not had the easiest time in life and made the best of the situation for herself, her son, and her friend. She is very deserving of Clay and Rio. Their dedication to her every need is a dream come true. I loved how they slowly made Jesse realize how real men treat their women, in and out of the bedroom. The sex was super erotic and always very emotional. I can't wait to read more about the secondary characters and the town of Desire.
