| Dixie leaves work one night and her car doesn’t start. A handsome stranger comes to her rescue. She immediately is drawn to him and invites him home with her. Bastian agrees to come with her because he is drawn to her not only physically but also because she doesn’t know who he really is and accepts and likes him for just being Bastian. They grow closer but problems arise when the truth comes out about who he is.
I must say this book was just excellent! Dixie’s personality was endearing while at the same time she remains a strong female who always looks on the positive side of life. She is a great character who made me laugh and love right along with her. Bastian’s strength comes from him making his own way in life even though his father has great wealth. The dialogue was snappy and flows seamlessly from one topic to another. The book is labeled BDSM but it is extremely mild. The sex, while being extremely sensual, is also a reflection of their growing feelings for each other. Altogether, this is an excellent book that I highly recommend.
