Eli and Jesse are riding the Wyoming Territory trying to obtain enough money to free Jesse's pregnant sister, Beth from her life of sexual servitude. When Anna, with her sharp-shooting abilities offers to join in and help the men on their mission, they reluctantly agree.

Author Christine Michaels plunges the reader into a heated romance showcasing her delightful and fresh sense of humor and adventure, passion and sensuality with touches of drama, drawing the reader deeply into each scene and holding them captive. Ms. Michaels' ability to build the sexual tension right from the very beginning into this wonderful plot absolutely delights and with the action never seeming to stop, the love growing stronger and the historical backdrop compelling, readers are going to adore this one.

Ms. Michaels creates utterly charming and well-developed characters in Eli, Jesse and Anna -- all are sexy, rough, touching and tender. These memorable and ideal characters have an exceptional emotional depth that supports the bond between them. Anna is a strong-willed, determined and passionate heroine who is quite refreshing in her zest for action and adventure. Eli and Jesse are complicated and intense heroes who are as different as night and day but who have forged an emotional and sexual history together from their past. Eli's character is hard on the outside but tender and loving on the inside to the right man and woman who he considers as his. Jesse's character is easy going, charming but with a tough side when the need arises. The chemistry is realistic, the bond tight and the loving intense and passionate. Once Eli succumbs to the fiery attraction he struggles with for Anna, the love scenes are filled with desire, romance and sexual tension between Eli, Jesse and Anna and aren't for the faint of heart.
